All you have to do is to create a Buyer’s account, Search for what you are looking for, Choose the Size & license that fit your needs and Start downloading.

  • What is stock images?

    Stock Images is existing photography & Videos that can be used for print, Web ads, Broadcasting, in books and magazines, in news, on Websites, in Brochures, on Packaging and in a large number of custom applications. As customers buy the Image according to a licensing terms granted by the copyright holder photographer/Videographer or from a legally appointed representative like meashots.com. Using an image that already exists saves the purchaser the time and expense of a custom Shoot Production.There are two basic licensing models for stock images. Meashots get to decide which model to license the images under, and the individual images become defined by how they can be licensed either as rights managed (RM) or royalty free (RF). An Image can never be both RM and RF only one of them.

  • How can I Sell my Photos/Videos on meashots?

    You can sell your photos/videos by creating a Contributor account on submit.meashots.com.After that you will have to upload the requested samples of your work in order to pass our image quality inspections.When you”re approved you automatically become one of our Contributor and you can upload exclusive Photos/Videos on meashots.

  • Do you sell packages?

    We do not sell Packages order to provide you with the best images and prices.Every image in our library can be found on our website

  • Do you have Subscriptions?

    We do not have Subscriptions in the meantime, but we will be considering it in our near future plans.

  • What Payment Methods do you have?

    Meashots accepts payments online using Credit/ Debit Card VISA, MasterCard, & Paypal in USD.

  • What is a Lightbox?

    A Lightbox is a simple tool to group together images that have a common theme for a projector just to collect your favourites. to download or share with a colleague. You can place images into a Lightbox then download the images later. You can also send the Lightbox link to a friend/colleague to review. You are not obligated to download images in your lightbox, as it's entirely up to you how many lightboxes you create if you use the images later.

  • Do I Have to be a registered Member to use Lightbox?

    -Yes, to create a lightbox you have to be registered as a member

  • I am registered and storing images in a lightbox -- how long will the lightboxes be there?

    There is no specific time limit for the lightboxes, your images will remain until you delete them

  • How do I add images to a Lightbox?

    After sign in there are two ways to do so. When you conduct an image search the results are displayed as miniatures called thumbs. If you scroll over an image thumbnail you can add that image to your lightbox by clicking on the light bulb icon directly beneath the thumb. , prompting you to "add to lightbox.” If this is your first lightbox you will choose "new,” and will be able to save the lightbox with whatever title you prefer. Thereafter, you may continue to add other images to that particular lightbox or continue creating other lightboxes, depending on your needs.The other way is to click on the image it self which will bring up the image preview page. . You will see the same light bulb icon and the words "add to lightbox.” Click on and simply repeat the process stated above.

  • Photo Usage

  • What Image size do I need?

    It all depends on how you plan to use the photo. We have provided suggested print sizes on each image details, but here is a quick summary:
    Small – Basic web use like blogs, articles, or brochures.
    Medium – Bigger web use like backgrounds or small prints about the size of a postcard.
    Large – Enough for almost any need you might have like full page prints and any web need.
    X-Large – Big enough for anything you’ll need, from double page spreads to large format posters.

  • Does the image I download have a watermark on it?

    Images downloaded with a purchased order will not be watermarked.

  • How does your licensing work exactly?

    We sell Royalty Free, Rights Managed & Editorial. Detailed information for each can be found on our license page.

  • If I modify an image, can I claim copyright to that image?

    You may modify an image and use it; however, you may NOT claim copyright to that image. Meashots and/or its suppliers continue to own all images, whether or not they have been modified.

  • Can I use purchased images for work with a client or customer?

    Yes, you can use images that you have purchased for work with third parties, but you should notify your customer that copyright on the image remains with its creator and does not pass to your customer, Unless you bought all the Exclusive Rights for that image.   • What Image use is prohibited ?

    Using Images together with pornographic, defamatory or other unlawful or immoral content is completely prohibited. Sensitive use:
    Any license granted by Meashots shall not constitute a representation that an Image is compatible for use with any other material. The user is solely responsible for the use of any Image in combination with any other material, and agrees not to use Images with sensitive topics without Meashots` separate written Agreement. Such sensitive topics include, but are not limited to: models with mental or physical health issues, social issues, sexual activity, sexual orientation and/or related substance abuse, crime and/or other subjects that can be considered to be offensive or unflattering to any of the models included in the image. You must contact Meashots for additional information prior to any use of an Image with any sensitive topic.

  • Do your images have model releases?

    Yes. In instances where photos/videos have recognisable faces in them, those people have signed a model release which is on File in the Meashots Premises.Editorial photos won’t be model released. These Editorial photos/video will be indicated as such, directly below the photo/video.

  • My page shows an ERROR message and there is no image -- what does this mean?

    This means that you are either typing in an invalid image number, or that the photographer has removed this image from the site. Because Contributors retain copyright to their images, they have the right to remove a photo/video from the site at anytime. If you see an image you like or need, it is best to download it as soon as possible.

  • Can I create an online gallery of Meashots photos?

    No. We maintain an online gallery, and users can be referred directly to our website. We suggest that you use a Lightbox for the purpose of grouping and sharing images with Friends/Colleagues/Clients.

  • Do you Sell TIFF Files?

    No, we do not sell Tiff files in the meantime but we are considering it in our future updates

  • What does ’Rights Managed’ and 'Royalty-free’ mean?

    Rights-managed (RM)
    RM is one of the original types of licenses, an RM license grants permission to use an image for a one-time with a specified use. However, if the customer needs the same image again, they must pay an additional fee. Sometimes RM images are licensed on an exclusive basis to prevent others from using the same image. All licenses are subject to Meashots Licenses Agreements.
    Royalty-free (RF)
    Unlike Rights Managed, RF licenses have very few restrictions. These images can be used multiple times by the same customer without additional fees. RF images are not given on an exclusive basis and are typically less expensive than RM. These licenses can be very popular because they are easier for a customer to understand and maintain.All licenses are subject to Meashots Licenses Agreements.

  • What are Editorial images?

    "Editorial Use” images depict a newsworthy subject or event. Such images are usually not appropriate for commercial use. For example, an image of a Celebrity or current affair may be newsworthy, but it would not be allowable to use that image in an advertisement without the permission of the subject.

  • Can I sell the photos/videos that I download?

    You may NOT resell the photos/videos that you download from Meashots. You can use them in design elements, but not offer them for digital resale or distribution. Please check license terms

  • Can I sell templates that I created using your images?

    Yes, you have such an option but it all depends on the Purchased license usage whether it’s RM, RF or Editorial. Check more details in our license agreements.

  • Can I download the same image several times?

    You can download your purchased image up to 3 times only

  • How can I become a Meashots Contributor?

    Please press become a Contributor on Meashots homepage or visit submit.meashots.com and follow the instructions.

  • What types of Photos/Videos are Contributors allowed to submit?

    Photo Requirements:

    • Photos must be in JPEG/JPG format with an RGB Color Space
    • Minimum resolution is 8 MP / 300 DPI
    Vector Image Requirements:

    • Supported vector image format is EPS (Soon)
    Video Requirements: 

    We accept the following video formats: MOV / MPEG4

    • We accept 24, 25, 29.97 or 30 FPS (frames-per-second)
    • Minimum video length is 3 seconds / Maximum video length is 30 seconds
    • Sound can be accepted if it is part of the scene (ambient sounds, voices). Video must NOT contain any audio track not owned by the Video Contributor
    • Maximum file size for video is 500 MB.

  • What kinds of Photo/Video are not accepted?

    We do not Accept the following:

    Images with extreme violence scenes.
    Images of obscene, pornographic, or abusive nature.
    Photographs of photographs.
    Photographs containing logos, trademarks, trade names unless for editorial reasons.
    Photographs of objects protected by patents, copyright or intellectual property rights.
    Subjects of contemporary arts.
    Photographs/pictures with design elements protected by copyright.
    Photographs or illustrations on the base of archive pictures, illustrations, magazines, reproductions, etc...
    Photographs of documents where personal data are shown.
    Photographs with elements of military awards, military property, symbols and attributes of state power, governmental properties where photographing is prohibited.
    Studio shooting of people if you have no Model's Release.
    Photographs from public events, sport events, concerts, where photographing was directly prohibited.
    Images that do not meet our quality requirements.

  • What is the limit for the quantity of images that I can upload per day?

    There are no restrictions or limitations on the number of images you can upload per day. But it is limited to 15 images per upload session. In fact, you’re encouraged to upload as many as possible as soon as possible in order to start earning the highest sales rewards.

  • May I upload images using FTP?

    Yes please contact us to get your ftp credentials and all details required.

  • When do I need to provide a Model’s Release?

    If an image is not a candid shot and people’s faces can be clearly identified, you must have a Model’s Release from all the people presented in the shot. Even if the photograph is of yourself you should also submit a signed Model’s Release by yourself. In the case of a Child or a deceased person is shown in the photograph, you must obtain the Model’s Release signed by his/her authorized legal representative.

  • If I am approved as an image contributor, will my images be uploaded automatically?

    No, your images are first subject to review by our image Inspectors.

  • How long does it take for my images to be evaluated before they are made available for sale?

    We have a finite number of Inspectors evaluating images uploaded by everyone around the globe.The time it takes for your images to pass the evaluation process is entirely dependent on the quantity of images uploaded. We make every effort to release everyone’s images for sale as quickly as possible without sacrificing our quality needs.

  • What are the reasons my images might be declined by your Inspectors?

    An image does not meet the quality criteria (see Contributors Guide);
    An image contains unacceptable elements, forbidden objects
    An image fully or in part coincides with the one already stored in the archive
    An image has low Artistic or Commercial value / unredeemable content

  • Can I change my mind and delete the images I uploaded?

    Approved images can be deleted after 18 Month Check Contributor’s agreement for more details.

  • What determines the amount of commission I’ll receive for each sale?

    The commission amount depends on the license type under which the image has been uploaded and the resolution in which it has been purchased. It is also influenced by your commission rate level and status on the website.For the detailed information please contact Contributors Support at contributers@meashots.com

  • Can I set the price on my images?

    No, the price for images is standard and set by Meashots exclusively.

  • Can I specify how my images can be used?

    Your images will be licensed to customers according to the Meashots license agreements.

  • How can I collect payment for the sale of my images?

    Once you reach the requested 100 USD payout thresholds you have the right to request payment from your "My Account” page.

  • Should I request payment right after the minimum amount is reached?

    Yes, it is up to you

  • How can I request payment from the site?

    In your "My Account” page you can check your earnings at the top left of the page and there you can click on the "Request Payment” button next to "My Earnings”.

  • I have requested payment, but I haven’t received my money yet. What’s happened?

    If your commission payment method is set to PayPal or Skrill you should be receiving your money after 14 working days after Payment is requested. If your Payment Method is set to Cheque/ Money Order you will automatically be added to the Meashots Cheques/ Money Order Payment Cycle and should be receiving your money after 30 days.

  • Can I sell Photos/Videos on Meashots if I’m already selling them through other stock photo websites?

    According to the Meashots Contributors Agreement you are NOT allowed to sell your Photos/Videos on ANY other stock photo websites as we only accept exclusive content according to the Meashots strategy.

  • May I sell my Photo/Video on my own after uploading them to Meashots?

    According to the Meashots Contributors Agreement you are NOT allowed to sell your Photos/Videos on your own, as according to the Meashots Agreement. Meashots is your sole seller/distributor agent.
